NESES Only Works With Your Help

Niños Estudiando El Salvador - Children Studying El Salvador - grew from a family project started by Joy and Ricardo Pocasangre, into a non-profit organization in May of 2003. NESES, along with several dedicated volunteers, share time and experiences with the Salvadoran children on the study tours, help graduates of the program give back, and encourage students to continue their education as far as they want to dream. NESES takes great pride in being a family and teaching the various partipants, students, and volunteers about commitment and responsibility. NESES is a volunteer organization with low overhead so all the money you donate goes right to our programs. Your donations go to improving our trips and giving scholarships to those who go on to complete high school in El Salvador.

$500 will send a Salvadoran student to high school for one year. One moment can change a child's life and $500, for a year of school, can make the difference between an okay future and a great future. NESES has had the pleasure of helping and witnessing several severly disadvangtaged students excel beyond their wildest expectations. It's an amazing feeling to be a part of someone's life in that way.

Donations, of any amount, are great gifts for weddings, anniversaries, graduations, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Quinceañeras, birthdays or memorials.

Religious groups, youth groups, families, communities and classrooms can go in on a contribution together and, of course, your donations are tax deductible!

Sponsor a Student! If you want to ensure that a student is able to complete high school, make a commitment for the whole three years of high school ($1500).

NESES has found that the best and most generous contributors are engaged individuals and organizations. NESES occasionally takes a small group of people on a trip so that they may get a first-hand experience of the exceptional youth that NESES serves. Every person that has been on a NESES trip has come back changed for the better and gets to see exactly how the donated money is spent. Not only do the youth participants get to see real people who care, but the caring individuals gets to fully experience their impact, directly.
